Tavi is a sweet but timid boy. He does not have any health
problems and gets along well with other dogs. Tavi is great
with my husband and I. Nevertheless, I do believe that Tavi
would do best in a patient family with children 10 years of age
or older. Anyone who actually knows the Chihuahua breed knows
that they can be rather "sensitive." They react to your tone of
voice along with your body language. Tavi is for sure one of
those Chihuahuas. He was temporarily adopted and came back
to us VERY shy and upset. I was told nothing happened but
I am not sure. We area always loving and patient with him.
When he wants to be by himself, we let him, when he wants to be lovey and in our lap we welcome him. He is a very sweet boy!
He has been trained to use a doggie door. When with another
dog, Tavi is more trusting. I believe it would be best if
adopted into a home that already has a small dog or to a family
who is willing to adopt another of the "buddies" he is already
with. Tavi is up to date on all of his vaccinations, heartworm
prevention and frontline. |
